Our Mission
The Learning Technologies and eDidactics Research Lab at TU Wien Informatics is dedicated to research and teaching in the fields of learning technologies, learning analytics, AI in education, game-based learning, computer science education and didactics. Our mission is to explore and develop cutting-edge technology-enhanced learning solutions, foster computational thinking, and enhance computer science education for diverse audiences. Through our research and teaching, we empower students to dive into learning technologies research and practice, deepen their understanding of informatics didactics and experience computer science teaching. Closely connected to the eduLAB outreach program of TU Wien Informatics, we engage young learners (ages 8 and older) in interactive, hands-on workshops to foster computational thinking, AI literacy and a fundamental understanding of computer science. We strive to inspire a new generation equipped with the skills and knowledge to thrive in a rapidly evolving digital world.
